The location was best possible and comfortable, near the mountain as well as the slopes near the chairlift and easily accessible. It also was directly opposite a ski lift for Ichinose Ski Area...

I came here with my family, and we loved the hotel’s fantastic location, as it was conveniently close to the bus stop, restaurants, and the ski lift. Being right at the start of the season at Shiga Kogen was a huge plus for us. Every staff member we encountered was excellent and very courteous, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The food was amazing value for money, especially the dinner which was a bargain. the location could not be beaten, with easy access to the slopes and great runs. the staff were great - friendly and attentive.
The traditional room was uncomfortable with only a low table and cushions with a backstop. the shared showers were located with the onsen, which wasn't ideal.

This hotel is conveniently located just down the road from the ski area, making it easy to access the slopes. The staff were very accommodating and provided a delicious breakfast buffet, while the facilities were clean and well-maintained. Additionally, the transportation options were excellent and I had no trouble finding parking.
Hard to think of anything.

I spent a delightful Christmas at a ski resort in Japan. The location was perfect, right by the ski lifts and lunch spots, and with direct access to cheap lift tickets. The room was spacious and offered excellent storage space for ski equipment. the on-site restaurant provided traditional and delectable dishes, and complimentary tea and coffee were available at the reception.
The in-room servicing could have been better; it was inconsistent at times, and the electrical outlet and lighting were limited.
